On May 3, 2022, at 3:40 pm, Island Lake RCMP received a report of a stabbing at a residence located on the Garden Hill First Nation. Officers attended and located a 38-year-old male who was pronounced deceased.
A 28-year-old male was arrested on scene and remains in police custody.
Island Lake RCMP along with RCMP Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.
