JFO West conducts drug trafficking investigation involving Corner Brook residence

The RCMP-RNC Joint Force Operation West (JFO West) is continuing an investigation into drug trafficking following the execution of a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a Corner Brook residence on March 18, 2022.

Officers seized prescription pills, cocaine, scales and other items indicative of drug trafficking, as well as stolen property, from the home. Two individuals were arrested and have since been released. They will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing and multiple charges are expected.

JFO West, which includes dedicated police officers from both the RCMP and RNC, targets drug trafficking and organized crime on the west coast of the province.
