JFO West executes search warrant at Corner Brook residence and seizes cocaine, cash and prescription pills

Cocaine, cash, prescription pills, scales and other items indicative of drug trafficking were seized by the RCMP-RNC Joint Force Operation West from a Corner Brook residence on April 7, 2022.

The RCMP-RNC Joint Force Operation West (JFO West) executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act at a Gilliam's Road residence in Corner Brook on April 7, 2022. Two individuals are facing drug-related charges.

Officers seized cocaine, cash, prescription pills, scales and other items indicative of drug trafficking from the home. A 52-year-old man and a 32-year-old woman were arrested inside the residence and have since been released. They will appear in court at a later date.

The investigation is ongoing and multiple charges are expected.

JFO West, which includes dedicated police officers from both the RCMP and RNC, targets drug trafficking and organized crime on the west coast of the province.
