Leduc RCMP seek assistance in locating wanted male

On March 19, 2022, at approximately 3 a.m., Leduc RCMP were dispatched to a stabbing in the area of 52 Street and 45 Avenue in Leduc.

Upon arrival, it was discovered that a male had been stabbed one time. The victim was transported to hospital in serious condition and has since been released.

The male 23-year-old male suspect of Calmar, Alta. fled the scene. He is currently wanted for one count of aggravated assault and one count of fail to comply with probation order.

Leduc RCMP's efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful, and they are seeking public assistance.

The 23-year-old male is described as:

  • Light complexion
  • 5 feet 7 inches tall to 5 feet 8 inches tall
  • 143 lbs
  • Brown hair and brown eyes

Leduc RCMP General Investigation has taken over carriage of the investigation.
