Man charged within 48 hours following home invasion

A 57-year-old man from Grand Manan, N.B. has been charged following a home invasion in Moncton.

On March 22, 2022, at approximately 6:20 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Killam Drive. A man entered the home, assaulted the lone occupant and fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of Canadian currency. The homeowner was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Through the investigation, police were able to identify the individual responsible and arrested him the following day on Mountain Road.

Bradley Allen Parsons appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by way of tele-remand on March 24, and was charged with robbery using violence. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to appear in Moncton Provincial Court on April 7.

The investigation is ongoing.
