Missing snowmobiler displaced during poor weather conditions is safely located near Main Brook

A snowmobiler who became displaced during poor weather conditions North of Main Brook on March 12, 2022, was safely located.

At approximately 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, St. Anthony RCMP received the report of the missing snowmobiler. Police contacted the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) to request assistance with the search. Shortly before 3:00 a.m., while JRCC were on route, the man was located by local searchers. He was uninjured and drove his snowmobile back to the community with the group of searchers.

St. Anthony RCMP thanks all those who assisted police with the successful search and safe return of the man.
