Nain RCMP arrests snowmobile operator for Impaired Operation

A female resident of Québec, who was operating a snowmobile, was arrested for Impaired Operation by Nain RCMP on March 15, 2022.

At approximately 4:30 that afternoon, she pulled up beside an off-duty Nain RCMP officer asking for directions to the nearest store. She showed signs of gross alcohol impairment and was arrested for impaired operation of a snowmobile.

The operator provided breath samples in excess of three times the legal limit.

She was later released from police custody and is scheduled to attend court on May 3, 2022.

Nain RCMP thanks the public for their assistance in this investigation and for continuing to report suspected impaired drivers and illegal activities.
