Nelson House RCMP looking for group involved in aggravated assault

On April 20, 2022, at approximately 11:15 pm, Nelson House RCMP received a report of an injured male who was located on Otetiskiwin Drive by a passerby and taken to the Nursing Station. Officers attended immediately. The 46-year-old male had been stabbed and sprayed with bear mace. The male remains in Winnipeg hospital in stable condition.

Investigation has determined that a group of approximately 10 people, consisting of both male and female suspects, approached the male on the road and attempted to rob him. When the male declined to hand over his belongings, he was attacked.
