The police presence continues in the area of Fox Marsh Road in Mahers, on the Avalon Peninsula. Any possible threat to public safety remains contained. The RCMP thanks the public for its cooperation as officers work to safely resolve this incident. The next update will be provided when there is new information to share.

The police response in Mahers is continuing, specifically in the area of Fox Marsh Road. While any possible threat to public safety continues to be contained by police, we ask that those in that area remain in their dwellings. Others should avoid the area.
