RCMP investigating theft of utility trailer and large capacity gasoline tank

The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to locate a stolen utility trailer from South Tetagouche, N.B.

The theft is believed to have occurred sometime between September 15, 2022, at 7 p.m. and September 16, at 7 a.m. The trailer was parked at a construction site on Highway 180 near South Tetagouche, approximately 30 kilometers west from Bathurst.

The trailer is described as a silver 2015 N&N aluminium utility trailer with New Brunswick licence plate number TOS 758 and vehicle identification number 2NEU13B14FS012487. The trailer contained a red 2,400 litres gasoline tank labeled with the number "46" in black lettering on the front panel. At this time, there is no photo of the trailer or gasoline tank available.

Anyone with information about the theft, who witnessed suspicious activity in the area between September 15 and September 16, or who has seen the trailer or gasoline tank since, is asked to contact the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771.
