RCMP requests assistance in identifying a suspect

Colchester County District RCMP is asking for the public's to identify a woman in relation to a credit card fraud near Plains Road in Debert.

On March 18, at approximately 5:53 p.m., police responded to a report of a parked vehicle that had been vandalized on Plains Road. Police learned that an unknown person(s) had broken a pane of glass to gain entry into the vehicle and had stolen a purse containing credit cards. The stolen credit cards were subsequently used to make purchases before the victim was able to cancel them.

Police attended a business where the stolen credit cards were used and obtained video surveillance.

The woman is described as white with dark hair that was in a bun at the time of the incident. She was wearing blue jeans with a blue jacket, a black shirt and black sneakers with a white sole. She was also wearing a black mask and sunglasses with gold or silver frames and a large necklace. Police believed that the female arrived at the business in a grey truck with an unknown male.
