RCMP seeking public’s assistance following break, enter and theft

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is seeking the public's assistance to identify a person of interest following a break, enter and theft in Blue Bell, N.B.

The incident occurred on April 22, 2022, at a seasonal home on Camp Lane between 3 and 4 a.m. The individual forcefully gained entry into the residence and stole several items. The residence was unoccupied at the time.

Through the investigation, police obtained a surveillance video photo of the individual involved. The RCMP is now releasing this photo, and are hoping that despite the quality of the image, information from the public may help identify the person or provide additional information to help the investigation.

The individual is described as wearing a hooded jacket and backpack at the time of the theft.

Some of the items that were stolen from the home include:

  • two Dewalt drills
  • a Mastercraft drill
  • five Dewalt drill batteries

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photo, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Saint-Léonard RCMP at 506-473-3137.
