RCMP seeking public’s assistance to identify robbery suspect

The Caledonia Region RCMP is asking for the public's assistance to help identify an individual involved in an armed robbery at a business in Salisbury, N.B.

On April 3, 2022, at approximately 3:40 am, a man entered the Ultramar Convenience Store on Fredericton Road, armed with a weapon. He demanded merchandise from an employee, and fled the scene before police arrived. Nobody was injured during the incident.

The RCMP are releasing a video surveillance photo of the suspect and are hoping that, despite the quality of the image, information from the public may help identify him or provide additional information to help the investigation.

The individual is described as a man approximately six feet four inches (193 centimeters) tall, and weighing approximately 300 pounds (136 kilograms) with a large build. He spoke English, and was wearing a blue face mask, a black and grey winter coat, and black track pants at the time of the theft.

Anyone with information about the theft, or who recognizes the individual in the photo, is asked to call the Caledonia Region RCMP at 506-387-2222.
