Rocky Harbour RCMP is investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred during the early morning hours of June 20, 2022, at Bonne Bay PharmaChoice in Norris Point. A number of prescription narcotic medications were stolen.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. on Monday, police received a report of a commercial alarm at the pharmacy. Officers attended the scene and found that a break, enter and theft had occurred. Surveillance footage revealed that two suspects wearing dark colored clothing and facial coverings entered the business through a rear window, went directly to a cabinet containing the narcotics and departed with various prescription medications. Suspects were in and out of the store in less than two minutes and departed in an unknown vehicle.
