Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes investigating death at RPCC

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is investigating after an inmate died on October 12, 2022 at the Regina Correctional Centre.

Initial investigation determined two inmates were involved in an altercation. 46-year-old Sheldon Rosebluff was seriously injured and pronounced deceased on scene by EMS. The second person involved, 31-year-old Adrian Cote, was not injured.

As a result of further investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes, Adrian Cote was charged with one count, second degree murder, in relation to the death of Sheldon Rosebluff.

Cote appeared in Regina Provincial Court on October 13, 2022. His next appearance is on October 25 at 9:30 a.m. Court Room #2 in Regina Provincial Court.

Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes continues to investigate in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service. Assistance is also being provided by the RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Regina RCMP General Investigation Section.
