On July 25, 2022 at approximately 9:35 p.m., Spiritwood RCMP received a report of a pedestrian-vehicle collision on Highway #24, approximately 4 kilometres north of Pelican Lake First Nation.
The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene. He has been identified as a 24-year-old male from Pelican Lake First Nation and his family has been notified.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
Highway #24 was closed during initial investigation but has since re-opened. Investigation continues with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
