Stolen vehicle recovered burnt in Marysvale; Bay Roberts RCMP seeks public’s assistance

A stolen vehicle, completely destroyed by fire, was recovered in Marysvale on December 18, 2022.

On Sunday morning, Bay Roberts RCMP received a report of a burnt abandoned pickup truck on Marysvale Road. A short time later, police received a report of an overnight theft of a grey 2011 GMC truck, stolen from a residence on Bacon Cove Road in Conception Harbour.

Officers attended the scene of the fire and determined the burnt truck was the stolen vehicle from Conception Harbour.

The investigation is ongoing.
