Stonewall RCMP execute search warrant and recover numerous stolen items

On March 28, 2022 at approximately 8:00 am, Stonewall RCMP responded to a break and enter at a business in the RM of Headingley. A large number of construction tools were stolen.

The investigation led officers from Stonewall RCMP, the Emergency Response Team, East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team and Police Dog Services, to execute a search warrant at a residence in Winnipeg.

Officers recovered a significant amount of property which was stolen from the greater Winnipeg area.

Officers identified a suspect and an arrest warrant has been issued for Lee Brandon Stewart, 31, of Winnipeg. He has been charged with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime x6, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking and Possession of Break-in Instruments.

Lee Brandon Stewart is 6'1", 175 lbs with light brown hair and blue eyes.
