RCMP are investigating these found remains as a homicide.
The investigation is in the early stages and more information will be provided when available.
Major Crime Services continues to investigate.
On March 30, 2022, at approximately 6:45 pm, Stonewall RCMP responded to a report of found human remains near Road 79 North, in the RM of Woodlands.
With the assistance of RCMP Forensic Identification Services and an anthropology team, investigators are currently on site conducting a search of the area.
The identity of the remains is unknown at this time.
