The Pas RCMP investigate hit and run

On June 18, 2022, at approximately 11:05 pm, The Pas RCMP responded to a hit and run collision involving a pedestrian, on Ducharme Street, in Cormorant, Manitoba.

A vehicle travelling on Ducharme Street, collided with a pedestrian, and fled the scene.

The 55-year-old male pedestrian from Cormorant, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation led officers to identify a suspect and a 59-year-old female was arrested. She was taken to the detachment where samples of her breath were obtained and found to be over the legal limit.

The 59-year-old female from Moose Lake, is facing charges of:

Impaired Operation Over 80 Causing Bodily Harm
Impaired Operation Causing Bodily Harm
Fail to Remain at Scene of Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm

She was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in The Pas on July 12, 2022.

The Pas RCMP continue to investigate.
