Three people have been sent to hospital following a two-vehicle collision in Springvale, near Charlottetown, PEI.
On April 28, 2022, at approximately 5:30 p.m., members of the Queens District RCMP, North River Fire Department and Island EMS responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Route 2.
Police believe the collision occurred when a car travelling eastbound crossed the centerline and collided with an SUV travelling westbound. Both individuals in the car were transported to hospital with serious injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the SUV was also transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
