West Hants District RCMP is asking for the public's assistance related to an assault that occurred on Hwy. 14 in Windsor.

On November 19, 2022, at approximately 4:05 p.m., West Hants District RCMP responded to a report of a disturbance on Hwy. 14 in Windsor. RCMP officers learned that an ATV, occupied by two people, had been tailgating an SUV on Hwy. 14, when it passed the SUV and abruptly came to a stop in the middle of the road. The driver of the ATV approached the SUV, smashed the driver's window and assaulted the female driver of the SUV. The ATV then fled the scene. RCMP officers conducted numerous patrols but were unable to locate the ATV.

RCMP investigators are releasing a photo of the ATV, in the hopes of being able to identify the ATV itself, and the occupants. Investigators believe the driver of the ATV is a man and the passenger is a woman.

Anyone with information on this incident, who witnessed this incident, or who recognizes the ATV, or its occupants, is asked to contact West Hants District RCMP at 902-798-2207.
