20-year-old Mayson Reindeer from Whitehorse was arrested by Dawson City RCMP on September 27, 2022 on multiple charges. He was remanded into custody and is scheduled for his next court appearance date in Whitehorse on Friday October 21, 2022.
Mr. Reindeer has been charged with the following:
- Possession of property obtained by crime less than or equal to $5000, section 354(1)(a) of the criminal code x 3
- Theft, forgery, misuse of credit card, section341(1) of the criminal code x 5
- Fail to comply with release order condition, section 145(5)(a) of the criminal code x 2
RCMP are still engaged in this investigation and more charges may be brought forward once all evidence has been gathered.
