On March 16, 2022, Yukon RCMP Traffic Services Unit were conducting traffic enforcement in the area of Hamilton Blvd. in Whitehorse, specifically targeting aggressive drivers. In total fifty-five tickets were issued by members of the Traffic Services Unit in the area of Hamilton Boulevard and Alaska Highway by Hillcrest.

Two individuals were stopped on Hamilton Boulevard after being captured by radar/laser driving 104 km/hr and 100 km/hr in a 60km/hr zone, an excess of 40-kilometres per hour over the posted limit.

Aggressive driving (speeding) is a common, yet dangerous habit for many drivers. "People have a misconception that, if running late, they can make time up while driving from point A to B", explains Cpl Natasha Dunmall, Yukon RCMP Traffic Services. "The posted limits indicate the maximum, legal speed permitted in ideal conditions. Driving faster than the maximum speed limit puts yourself and other road users at risk."
