Arrest warrant issued for Justin King of Western Bay

Update: Justin King was arrested today (February 17, 2023) and attends court this afternoon. Harbour Grace RCMP thanks the public for all information received.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 31-year-old Justin King of Western Bay in relation to a number of criminal offences and traffic violations.

After two recent incidents where King fled from police during attempted traffic stops, Harbour Grace RCMP sought and received a warrant for his arrest from the court. During both incidents, King fled from police at a high rate of speed and in the interest of public safety, officers did not pursue the vehicle.

King, who owes more than $15,000.00 in outstanding fines, is suspended from driving and is frequently changing out vehicles to avoid detection. His picture is attached.

He is wanted in relation to criminal charges including flight from police and dangerous driving. He is also wanted for charges under the Highway Traffic Act for driving while suspended.
