Bay St. George RCMP is investigating two recent break and enters at commercial properties in Stephenville where quantities of cash were stolen.
Shortly before 7:00 p.m. on March 2, 2023, police received a report of a break, enter and theft at Nu Beauty salon on Main Street. A door was pried open and a significant amount of cash was stolen from the property.
This morning, police received a report of a break, enter and theft from Bay St. George Chiropractic Clinic on West Street. The crime occurred sometime overnight between 9:30 p.m. yesterday and 8:30 a.m. this morning. A door was pried open and phone lines inside the business were cut. A quantity of cash was stolen from inside.
Police are working on obtaining surveillance footage from one of the businesses. The investigations are continuing.
