On February 8, 2023, as part of an ongoing investigation, Fisher Branch RCMP along with assistance from the Emergency Response Team, Police Dog Services and National Weapons Enforcement Support Team, conducted a search warrant at a residence on Peguis First Nation.
Officers seized four firearms, ammunition, and prohibited magazines.
Two adults, a male and female, both aged 27, were arrested at the scene and are facing charges of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon x4, Careless Storage of a Firearm x3 and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device.
Fisher Branch RCMP continue to investigate.
