On January 23, 2023, at 3:30 am, officers from the God's Lake Narrows RCMP received a report of an altercation at a residence located in the community. It was reported that an injured male had been transported to the nursing station.
Officers attended to the nursing station and located a 51-year-old male, from God's Lake Narrows, who had been pronounced deceased.
His death is being treated as a homicide.
God's Lake Narrows RCMP, along with RCMP Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.
