Harbour Breton RCMP is investigating a break, and enter and theft that occurred at Freeman Crewe Ltd. General Store in Hermitage in the early morning hours of January 22, 2023.
At around 7:00 a.m. that morning, Harbour Breton RCMP responded to the report of the crime that is believed to have occurred at approximately 4:00 a.m. The window of the front door had been smashed to gain entry to the building. A number of items were stolen, including cash, a cash register and cigarettes. During the time of the break and enter, a dark-coloured car was observed in the area.
