Man and woman charged following robbery

A 32-year-old man from Charlo, N.B. and a 24-year-old woman from Dalhousie, N.B., have been charged following a robbery in Dalhousie.

On January 31, 2023, at approximately 5:55 a.m., members of the Campbellton RCMP detachment responded to a panic alarm at a gas station on Renfrew Street in Dalhousie. When police arrived on scene, it was learned that a man and a woman entered the business, and then left moments after. A short time later, the woman entered the business again and handed a note to the cashier demanding money. She then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was injured during the incident.

Later the same morning, police arrested a 32-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman in connection with the incident.

On February 1, Kylee Gibson and Marcus Ivan Edmond Hickey appeared in Campbellton Provincial Court and were charged with Robbery.

Both individuals were remanded into custody and are scheduled to return to court on February 6.

The investigation is ongoing.
