As part of an on-going drug investigation by RCMP-RNC Joint Forces Operation West (JFO), 33-year-old Ryan Hampton was arrested, with assistance from RNC Patrol Services, at a traffic stop in Corner Brook on January 25, 2023.
Hampton, who had been released from Provincial Court in Corner Brook earlier in the day, was found in possession of a controlled substance, placing him in breach of his court release order. He was taken into custody and attends court today, charged with possession of a controlled substance and breach of his court release order.
JFO West, which includes dedicated police officers from both the RCMP and RNC, targets drug trafficking and organized crime on the west coast of the province.
