St. Anthony man charged with cocaine trafficking

A St. Anthony man has been charged with Trafficking Cocaine under Section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA).

In the early morning hours of Thursday, March 23, St. Anthony RCMP conducted a traffic stop where a quantity of cocaine was seized, which led to the execution of a search warrant at the residence of 41-year-old Ryan Ricks of St. Anthony. The warrant was authorized under the CDSA.

Drug paraphernalia, cash and a cell phone were seized from the residence. Ricks was arrested, charged and appeared in Provincial Court on Thursday afternoon, March 23. He was released on multiple conditions to adhere to and will appear in court again at a later date.
