Suspicious person complaint leads to arrest

Prince District RCMP arrested a 52 year-old Nova Scotia man after receiving a complaint of a suspicious person in Sherbrooke.

On February 13, 2023, at approximately 5:35 pm, Prince District RCMP received a complaint of a suspicious person who appeared to be trying to gain access to a cottage in Sherbrooke.

RCMP officers located the person in the area and the investigation lead to the arrest of a 52 year-old Nova Scotia man. Police learned that the man had warrants for his arrest related to offences in Nova Scotia, Quebec and most recently Newfoundland and Labrador. The accused will be in court on Feb 14, to face property offence-related and breach charges.
