The Pas RCMP assault complaint leads to seizure of numerous firearms

On March 7, 2023, at 2:45 am, The Pas RCMP received a report of an assault in progress at a residence located on Hill Place in The Pas.

Officers responded to the complaint and upon entry into the home, immediately observed numerous unsecured firearms strewn about. The firearms were found to be improperly stored and several were loaded. One firearm was later determined to have been stolen from a break and enter reported in 2022 in The Pas.

Seven individuals, five males and two females, were arrested on scene and taken into police custody.

A search warrant was prepared and executed for the lawful seizure of the firearms and explosives.

The allegation of an assault was investigated and found to be unsubstantiated.

The Pas RCMP continue to investigate.
