UPDATE: Woman receives lengthy sentence for drug trafficking in Digby

A woman has been sentenced to more than 2-years in custody after having plead guilty to drug trafficking in Digby.

In March 2022, Digby RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle which resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old (at the time) woman and the seizure of crack cocaine, cash and a cellular phone. The woman was charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and released on conditions to appear in court.

In early-February 2023, Digby RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Water St. in Digby, which resulted in the arrest of the same woman. RCMP officers seized crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia. The woman was again charged with Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and was remanded into custody.

On February 27, 2023, Tammy Denise Graham, 49, of Digby, plead guilty to both counts of Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking and was sentenced to 27-months in custody.
