On February 19, 2023, Yorkton RCMP received a report of snowmobile stolen from a trailer on Parkview Road in Yorkton.

Investigation determined the snowmobile was outside of a residence on Calwood Crescent in Yorkton. Officers executed a search warrant there on February 20 and located the snowmobile, which was returned to its owner.

As a result of continued investigation, 44-year-old Darcy Larose and 41-year-old Devon Ebach, both from Saskatoon, are each charged with:

  • one count, possession of stolen property, Section 354(1)(a), Criminal Code; and
  • one count, theft over $5000, Section 334(a), Criminal Code.

Darcy Larose was arrested in Yorkton on February 20 and is scheduled to appear in Yorkton Provincial Court on February 23, 2023.

A warrant has been issued for Devon Ebach's arrest. Devon Ebach is also wanted for being unlawfully at large. Details, including his description, are available here. Note that Devon Ebach may still be in the Yorkton area, but that can't be confirmed.
