Mike Cabana – Deputy Commissioner, Federal Policing
Federal Policing is responsible for providing delivery of services force wide in the following areas: Federal Protective Services which ensures the safety of state officials, major events, visiting dignitaries and foreign missions; Federal and International Operations dealing with a broad and diverse range of counter-criminal activities and policing presence on the international scene (e.g. border integrity; drugs; organized crime; financial crime; international policing; and, in the conduct of National Security Criminal Investigations relating to terrorism. As an RCMP Senior Executive, the Deputy Commissioner is involved in policing matters domestically and internationally. As such, the Deputy Commissioner is required to attend a variety of functions across Canada and to different parts of the world where RCMP Federal Policing interests are to be represented.
