On June 15, 2019 at approximately 8:25 pm Iqaluit RCMP responded to an alleged robbery where an adult male was beaten and had his wallet and cash stolen by 2 male suspects. The victim was transported to the Qikiqtani General Hospital and was released after receiving medical treatment.
One suspect was wearing black jacket, black pants and a black ball cap. The other suspect was also wearing a black jacket and white pants. The incident occurred on the trail between the Frobisher Inn and High School.
