The RCMP's Major Crime Unit and the Codiac RCMP are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman in Dieppe, N.B., as homicides.

On September 7, 2019, just after noon, the RCMP were called to a home on Amirault Street. When they arrived, they discovered the bodies of a 78-year-old man and a 74-year-old woman inside the home.

Police do not believe this was a random occurrence. Autopsies have been scheduled on the victims to confirm how they died.
