Codiac RCMP respond to injured person complaint, two people arrested

Codiac Regional RCMP have arrested two people after responding to a call of a person who was seriously injured.

At approximately 7:45 a.m. on December 2, 2020, police responded to a location at the corner of Mountain Road and Oakland Avenue in Moncton. A 39-year-old man was found suffering from a serious injury to his upper body. The man was transported to hospital to be treated for a non life-threatening injury.

A short time later, police arrested a 26-year-old man and 25-year-old woman at a residence on Oakland Avenue.

The individuals remain in police custody as the investigation continues.
