A 37-year-old man has been arrested following the seizure of drugs and a total of 11 firearms in Glassville, N.B.
On November 26, 2020, shortly after 5:30 p.m., the Western Valley Region RCMP were called to a home on Route 107. Once on scene, police discovered a loaded sawed-off shotgun and what are believed to be methamphetamine pills. A 37-year-old man who had recently moved to the area from Ontario was arrested at the scene.
The following day, police executed a search warrant at the same residence. During the search, police seized a quantity of methamphetamine pills and powder. Police also secured 10 additional firearms, including some prohibited firearms, as well as prohibited magazines, various types of ammunition and a conducted energy weapon.
The 37-year-old man arrested on November 26 was later released. He is scheduled to appear in Woodstock Provincial Court on March 23, 2021.
The investigation is ongoing.
