The RCMP has recently laid criminal charges in an alleged fraud against a business in Watson Lake. The allegations relate to business cheques being fraudulently deposited into a personal bank account, between May 20, 2020 and July 29, 2020.
Cheryl O'Brien, 46, has been charged with Fraud over $5000 and Forgery with the information being sworn on August 7, 2020.
Ms. O'Brien is released on an Appearance Notice for court on October 6, 2020.
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and no further information will be released at this time.
