Same residence hit twice by vandals; Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP looks for information

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP investigate a broken window at a residence on McLean Cresent on March 25, 2020.

Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP are investigating two separate reports of damage at the same residence located on McLean Cresent in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

On March 22, 2020, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP received a report of a parked vehicle damaged sometime overnight. Police determined the damages occurred sometime between 9:45 p.m. on March 21 and 8:30 a.m. the following day.

On March 25, 2020, police responded to an incident at the same residence and determined a bedroom window was broken by an unknown object. No one was injured.

A vehicle was seen leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police conducted patrols but did not locate the vehicle.

Police believe both incidents are related and ask residents in the area to review any video surveillance footage for any information that may assist with the investigation.
