Twillingate RCMP seizes vehicle after issuing man same traffic tickets twice within two weeks.

A 21-year-old Summerford man has been ticketed twice within two weeks for driving while suspended and driving without insurance by Twillingate RCMP.

approximately 6:30 p.m., on May 18, 2020, Twillingate RCMP stopped a vehicle in the town of Carters Cove after receiving a tip from the public that a man was driving without insurance. Police found that the driver had a suspended driver's licence, ticketed him for both offences and seized and impounded the vehicle for 30 days. The same man was issued the same tickets following a minor two-vehicle motor vehicle collision on May 8 in Summerford.
