UPDATE: Missing woman Alyssa Watkins has been located.

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP is looking for 28-year-old Alyssa Watkins, who was last seen on December 9, 2021.

At approximately 1:00 a.m. this morning, police received notice that Watkins was missing. She was last seen on Thursday on the Trans-Canada Highway in Grand Falls-Windsor at approximately 6:30 a.m., just west of the Westwood Inn. Watkins was last seen entering a black transport truck, which was towing an orange forklift. The transport truck departed with Watkins on board. She has not been heard from since that sighting.

Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP is concerned for Watkins' safety and well-being.

Police are interested in speaking with the owner of the transport truck, as Watkins was last seen getting into the truck.
