RCMP seeking public’s assistance following damages to community mailboxes

The Clair RCMP is asking for the public's assistance following several reports of damaged Canada Post community mailboxes in the Upper Madawaska, N.B. region.

Sometime between October 27 and October 28, 2021, someone forced open and damaged five community mailboxes. The incidents took place on Chemin Cyril and Chemin Riceville in Baker Brook, as well as Chemin Rivière-à-la-Truite and Chemin Paradis in Saint-Jacques.

Anyone with information about these incidents or who may have recently been a victim of mail theft, is asked to contact the Clair RCMP at 506-473-3137. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
