The Codiac Regional RCMP has arrested a 28-year-old man, and seized drugs, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and money, following a two-vehicle collision in Moncton, N.B.

On November 11, 2022, at approximately 8:40 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Salisbury Road and Jackson Avenue, in Moncton. The driver of one of the vehicles, a 28-year-old man from Moncton, was arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant. Subsequent to the arrest, police searched the man and seized quantities of what is believed to be cocaine and methamphetamine. Police also seized money and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

On November 12, the 28-year-old man appeared in Moncton Provincial Court by way of tele-remand. He was remanded into custody on an unrelated matter, and is scheduled to return to court on November 15 at 9:30 a.m., for a bail hearing.

The investigation is ongoing.
