A 33-year-old man from Poodiac, N.B. has died following a single-vehicle crash in Jeffries Corner, N.B

On December 1, 2022, at approximately 10:25 p.m., members of the Sussex RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 111 in Jeffries Corner. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently rolled several times and stopped in a ditch.

Members of the Hammond-Jeffries Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's office also attended the scene. An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.

An RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
