60-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 60-year-old man from Red Bank First Nation, N.B., has died from injuries sustained following a single-vehicle crash in Boom Road.

On December 20, 2022, at approximately 8:10 p.m., members of the Sunny Corner, Blackville, and Doaktown RCMP detachments responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 425 in Boom Road. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital with what were believed to be serious, life-threatening injuries.

The man has since died in hospital as a result of his injuries.

Members of the Sunny Corner Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner's office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
