On July 4, 2022, shortly after midnight, Sundre RCMP responded to a complaint of a homicide at a local business. Officers attended and located Josh Burns (19) of Sundre, Alta., deceased.
A 27-year-old individual, of Sundre, was located close to the scene and was arrested without incident. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
The 27-year-old individual has been remanded into custody and will be appearing in Canmore Provincial Court on July 6, 2022, at 9:30 a.m.
